Many of the younger generation of bank employees, especially those who have joined after 01-Apr-2010 and thus covered only by the so-called New Pension Scheme", have asked me for details of the Bank Employees Pension Regulations. Here I am attaching the entire set of these Regulations running to about 60 pages. But the most important points for our present discussion on wage revision is Regulation No. 7 that deals with the composition of the Fund & Regulation No. 11 which mandates how the Fund needs to be replenished every year. Most of the other regulations have no bearing on the younger generation, who are not governed by these.
